Emmipet ultrasonic tooth cleaning

How it works

The Emmipet teeth cleaning system is non-invasive, effective and will benefit your cats whole health in general, as well as their teeth. It is gentle, motionless and does not involve any brushing or abrasive action. The system works by using a chip, which sits in the head of the toothbrush and generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute. These waves are then transferred onto the specially formulated toothpaste. This then generate micro bubbles, which react with the air vibrations and impode. These little implosions eliminate and remove food particles, plaque and bacteria from within your cat’s mouth. It is estimated that by the time they are 3 years old, 85% of cats have started to show some signs of dental disease.

The Emmipet ultrasonic toothbrush works effectively against:-

  • gingivitis and periodotitis
  • oral cavity diseases
  • plaque and tartar build up
  • bad breath

I am offering two payment options:-

Option 1 – PAYG (pay as you go) | Suitable for cats with clean teeth, as part of their oral maintenance, or a small amount of tartar, where only a few sessions may be needed…

Initial consultation including brush head, £35. Follow up visits £25

Your cat will have their own, initial brush head. The head will need replacing after 10 visits, or sooner if it has been damaged, at a cost of £10. The initial visit will last 30 minutes.

Follow up visits can be added onto grooming visits, or booked separately and these will last for 20 minutes.

Option 2 – pre-payment plan | Suitable for cats with lots of plaque who need multiple sessions & will benefit from having several in a short space of time…

Pre-paid 10, including brush head, £200

Treatments can be purchased in blocks of 10, which includes a brush head. After each block of 10 treatments purchased, you can change to Option 1 if you would like to.

The recommended frequency for optimum results is weekly, although more often is fine too.

In the pictures below, you can see the results on my own cat, Heidi – she had a moderate amount of plaque to begin with and the vet recommended that she have a de-scale and polish under a general anaesthetic. I used the ultrasonic toothbrush on her teeth every day for about two and a half weeks and this is how her teeth look currently (bottom pic). I am now maintaining this with twice weekly sessions.
