Grooming with welfare at the heart of it
Every cat is different and I tailor each groom to their individual temperament, age and coat condition. I use gentle, cat-centred handling and adapt each groom according to the individual cat’s temperament, age, coat condition and tolerance. If a cat becomes overwhelmed, I’ll re-assess what’s appropriate rather than forcing them through a groom just to achieve a particular result.
Sometimes the best outcome is a shorter session, a gradual introduction to grooming or returning another day. The aim is to leave the cat feeling as positive as possible about the experience.

About Holly
I’m Holly, the owner and groomer behind The Cats’ Whiskers. I’ve been working exclusively with cats for over seven years and have developed a particular passion for feline welfare, gentle handling and helping cats who don’t always find grooming easy. I’m continually developing my knowledge of feline behaviour alongside my grooming work, because I believe understanding why a cat behaves the way it does is just as important as knowing how to groom them.
As well as being mobile, I also have a dedicated grooming studio in Clevedon which provides a calm, quiet environment where I can give each cat the time and attention they need.
